Approximate location: we may infer a general location from your IP address to help secure accounts and tailor regional experiences (not precise GPS unless you choose to share it).

Event organizers/venues: event changes, entry scan results, or customer service issues related to your order.

With event organizers and venues

When you buy tickets, we share necessary details with the event organizer and/or venue to administer the event, fulfill your order, provide customer service, and support entry (for example, validating tickets at the gate).

With service providers

We use third-party providers to help operate GateHopper (for example: hosting, analytics, communications, fraud prevention, and customer support). They may process information on our behalf under contractual restrictions.

For legal and safety reasons

We may disclose information if we believe it is reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, protect users, prevent harm, investigate fraud, or enforce our terms.

Business transfers

If GateHopper is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

Tickets, Wallet Passes, and QR Codes

GateHopper tickets may include QR codes or similar technology used to validate entry. When a ticket is scanned, we and/or the organizer/venue may record scan status, time, and related identifiers to prevent duplicate use and help resolve entry issues.

If you add a ticket to a mobile wallet, your wallet provider may collect information under their own privacy policy.

Payments

Payment processing is handled by our payment partners. GateHopper does not store full payment card numbers. Our partners may collect and process payment details under their own privacy policies.
